This helmet is equipped with the system MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) designed to improve safety on motorcycles but also on bikes. It is a technology imitating cerebrospinal fluid to improve the protection of the brain during a shock. There are 3 main components in a helmet equipped with MIPS: the inner foams, a low friction membrane and a system of elastomeric fasteners between the two. During an impact, the interior foams dissipate the force of the impact. In addition, the elastomeric fasteners stretch to allow the foams to make fluid movements between the low friction membrane and your head.
Helmet Fox V1 is also equipped with the system MVRS (Magnetic Visor Release System) which uses strong magnets to hold the visor in place and let it come off if dropped.
